artdocentThe Clark Art Docent Program is a 100% PTA sponsored, in-class volunteer opportunity offering art education to our students.  The program is made possible through PTA sponsorship and dedicated volunteers who lead, support and demonstrate hands-on lessons once per month.

Anyone can be an art docent and no art background is required.  Getting involved as a docent is an amazing way to encourage student growth and creative thinking.

Feeling like this may be a great fit for you?  Here's what you need to do:

  1. Complete your ISD volunteer background check.
  2. Let your student's teacher know ASAP that you want to be an art docent for the class.
  3. Plan on attending the Art Docent Program orientation on Oct 7th @ 9:30 - 11 am or October 10th @ 2 - 3:30 pm.  Sign up for 1 Orientation session here. Orientation is require for all volunteers new and veteran alike as the program develops and changes from year to year.  It is a great time to get to know the space and other art docents as well! Orientation will also provide you what to expect, how to set-up for success, what is provided in the supply closets and art spaces, lesson management tips, and resources and supply preparation/clean-up.

Still have questions?  Please feel free to reach out to us.  We are here to help!
