Read-a-Thon is one of the biggest PTA fundraisers of the year.  The money raised provides funds for teacher grants and events and programs for students and families throughout the year.  Plus, it provides a great tax deduction incentive for our donors.   Packets will be sent home on October 7th and will include important dates, fundraising and prize information, pledge form, and reading incentives/minutes log.  IMPORTANT DATES: Week 1 – 10/7-10/13, turn in minutes on 10/15 **Students who read & turn in 100 minutes by 10/14 will receive a free book valued up to $10 at the book fair! 2019 Salmon Days Parking Volunteers Needed
Volunteers are needed during the 2019 Salmon Days (Oct 5 - 6) to staff the parking lots run by Clark PTA.  This event is a huge opportunity for Clark PTA to raise up to $5,000 to help support programs funded by the Clark PTA including grant funded programs like Raz-Kids, Word Detectives, Lucy Caulkins Reading Curriculum, and Science to Go.  Sign up to Volunteer here .  No ISD background check required.  Volunteers get a free parking spot and you can use it if you want to enjoy Salmon Days either directly before or after your shift. ... read full article
